The First Fix Solution

The Adaptalock system has been specifically designed for Locksmiths and the Maintenance sector , to assist them to comply with Housing Associations “first fix is paramount“ policy. These systems can be stocked securely in heavy duty cardboard tubes less than a Metre long on the Operatives van ,along with a small range of separately packed centre Gearboxes , which will cover around 90% of all door systems installed in the last 20 years. Doors installed between 20 to 35 years ago may require some additional Gearbox back set sizes, which we can supply.

THE INVENTION

I invented Adaptalock after receiving lots of negative feedback about the existing repair locks available. The common problem with their design is the need to cut /crop the system to size, only to find that it has been cut  to the wrong position and can then rarely be rectified.  Another common problem is the difficulty of fitting the replacement frame keep assembly, as all frame profiles are different. Only the most confident experienced operative will even attempt to install such a system, and will more often than not fail to have it working correctly. Furthermore, existing systems lack versatility, for instance, most only have a single spindle gearbox available, where as most front doors require a twin spindle system, therefore the door handles will need to be replaced, which often requires the drilling of new bolt positions.

With Adaptalock, there's no cutting, no new keeps and no hassle! 

Patented Design

Adaptalock's Patented Design overcomes the frustrating, time consuming and costly installation issues experienced with existing lock systems. It's impossible to make a mistake with Adaptalock as there is no cutting or cropping. If your first attempt of alignment to match the Hook bolt positions is not accurate enough , you simply slide the Hook bolt further along the rails until it matches perfectly to the existing frame keep. 

The full range of single or twin spindle centre gearboxes make this the most versatile lock system available and this means you can use the existing door handles . Even the most inexperienced operative will feel confident to take on the job of replacing a broken door system
